Department History

"The Department of Theoretical and Experimental Physics was separated from the Department of Physics in September 2021 as part of a structural reorganization approved by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan at Qarshi State University. According to Decision No. 1 of the University Academic Council in September 2021 and Order No. 413 of the University Rector, the Department of Theoretical and Experimental Physics was established"
"The department conducts scientific research in the following areas: Study of surfaces and near-surface regions of solid materials. Fabrication of thin nanofilms and investigation of their electronic and physical properties. A research laboratory, ""Micro- and Nanoelectronics,"" has been established within the department. The department's scientific focus is on the formation of micro- and nanoscale films on solid surfaces and the study of their structure and properties. In 2025, the department published 26 articles in international scientific journals, 8 articles in scientific journals included in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 7 articles in scientific journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science databases, as well as 2 textbooks."
